U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday during a coronavirus task force briefing that he has tested negative once again during a second COVID-19 test, adding it was "much more pleasant" and gave a faster result. During the press conference, Trump addressed various issues that had arisen in the past few days including stay-at-home orders issued by Florida and Georgia. Asked about the delays the two states took and whether he would impose a nationwide stay-at-home order, Trump reiterated what he said Wednesday that he would leave it up to states. He also criticized the House select committee launched by Speaker Nancy Pelosi to oversee the Trump administration's coronavirus response as a "witch hunt," saying that it drained valuable resources during a pandemic. Dr. Deborah Birx, head of the White House's coronavirus task force, said on Thursday that the debate is still ongoing about whether to revise guidance around wearing masks in public, saying one issue is they don't want people to have a "false sense of security" wearing a mask in that they could be protecting others but would not necessarily be protecting themselves. She said one reason for this is that people's eyes are still exposed and if someone touches their eyes, if could be a risk factor. For more info, please go to https://globalnews.ca/news/6744076/u-...
