The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* A portion of central Alabama, including the following areas,
Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Bullock, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee,
Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Etowah, Hale,
Jefferson, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pike,
Randolph, Russell, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tallapoosa,
Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston.
* Through late Tuesday night.
* Periods of heavy rainfall are expected across much of Central
Alabama through Tuesday night. Showers and thunderstorms could
produce locally heavy rainfall at times, which could lead to flash
flooding. Total rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are forecast,
with locally higher amounts.
