Meteorologist Steve Caparotta is a native of Metairie and has been with WAFB since 2003. He earned a B.S. in Meteorology from the University of South Alabama and both a Master's and Ph.D. in Geography (Climatology) from LSU. He is married with 2 daughters, Eliana and Clara.
